Do I need an API key to use rpcfree?

No. rpcfree endpoints are available without signup and without an API key.

Which chains are currently listed?

Ethereum, Base, Polygon, and Arbitrum each have dedicated chain pages with network details and status.

What are the free limits?

rpcfree.com (no signup, no API key), per client IP (full IPv4 or IPv6 /64):

  • 10 requests / second (burst 20) — error: Rate limit exceeded (more than 10 r/s)
  • 333,333 CU / day — error mentions daily CU limit and usage
  • 10,000,000 CU / month — error mentions monthly CU limit and usage

Limits are the same on every chain endpoint. Full table on the homepage and each chain page. For higher throughput, Etox Free (API key) or Pro.

Can I use these endpoints in production?

For prototypes and low-volume traffic, yes. For higher reliability, throughput, and controls, use a managed API key plan such as Etox Pro.
